Here’s an update to yesterday’s video of the destruction in Western North Carolina. I realize East TN, southwest VA and WV were all severely affected. I have a house in southwest West Virginia that was flooded from this same storm. As this recovery effort gains momentum, it will spread elsewhere. This is just the beginning of a long road map. The reason I’m starting in Western North Carolina is because I used to live there, in one of the areas directly affected. I have two places you can physically drop off supplies, and two ways you can give financially. This is through the same outreach program I am already involved with who does an incredible job helping communities, feeding the homeless and getting people out of addiction every single day. All information for donating monetarily and in-person can be found at the link in my bio and at oliveranthonymusic.lnk.to/hurricanehelenerelief. There will be 100% transparency to what your money is being spent on. It will go directly into the pockets and homes of the people who were affected. There is no corporate middleman and no big organization taking a dime out of this. Keep fighting the good fight. Talk to you soon. #hurricanehelene #hurricanerelief

I'll swear I've been on the phone more in the last 24 hours than I have my entire life. But I have two verified drop off locations and I have a verified way for you to donate funds to where you know that the effort and the money and the time that you put into this goes directly 100% to the people involved. So first and foremost, if you got supplies, like anything, food, paper towels, all the toiletry stuff, like any kind of clothes, just anything that you think that flood victims could use right now, you can donate it to the Beacon Hill Ministry, you can drop it off there. I've got two buses leaving Monday night full of supplies. We've already got a ton of stuff there. They're already feeding the homeless and getting people out of addiction and so like this is kind of right up their alley and I worked with them back for Easter Sunday. We did a charity show together and Pastor Michael is my personal pastor and I'm not in there every Sunday. I mean, their church is an hour and 45 minutes away from where I live and I'm on the road all the time, but we talk quite often and he's kind of been a mentor to me a little bit and trying to grow my relationship with God and getting better and so anyway, I trust this man with my life and so I'm using his church to shuttle supplies down out of Virginia. I'm using his church to take the donations. It's a way that I know that I can 100% transparent and securely get your money into the hands of the people down there without worrying about anybody pocketing even a penny of it and these bigger organizations. I like to think that they do the right thing, but it's like you just hear these stories about people working at a charity and they got a six-figure salary and they're driving some company vehicle and I just I just it's just like I don't know. I just I hate donating to big places because you just don't really you just don't know you just having to hope that it does. So I have a way to donate supplies and funds and I'll be down there next week. It's as soon as I can get there, but I promise I'm coming as soon as I can. I'm looking forward to seeing everybody and you know, it's important to talk about in Western North Carolina and East Tennessee and Southwest, Virginia and West Virginia all these areas that have been affected so severely. It's not even just about the immediate response like to make sure that people are fed and have clothes and have shelter but like long-term we got to come up with a list of trusted contractors that we can recommend for those areas that we know aren't going to screw people like there needs to be a strong communication and just a sense of community built out of this in order for these places to sustain for them not to end up being land grabs. I've been reading all of your comments and like I understand there's a lot of people that there's a lot of different there's a lot going on with this than just what then what is on the surface level but for right now I just want to focus on getting these people fed and give them some shelter. The reason I started in Western North Carolina is just because that's where I used to live and I mean when you drive down I-40 there's that little McDonald's off the old Ford exit like you better believe I was in the back of that thing sweating for a lot of late night shifts flipping burgers like I so that's why I'm starting there but like East Tennessee Southwest Virginia West Virginia like I understand you guys are suffering and I want this money and these supplies to affect you too and so as this thing builds momentum and going I just hope that North Carolina is where we're a little more centralized but we just push this thing out. I mean I've got a little house on the Bluestone River in West Virginia and it had water up to the front door like I know there's a there's been a lot of people affected so links are down below you'll be hearing a lot more from me very soon if you want to keep watching this video I have a whole segment that I'll clip on the end of this from Pastor Michael from his own words just talking about what they do in the ministry and if you want to stick around and watch that I would love for you to he's an amazing guy and I think you'll get something from it so I'll talk to you very soon love y'all thank you bye hey what's going on everybody thank you so much for your support and I know this means a lot to Chris it really has a heart to help people in need wherever and this specific instance right now we're talking about Western Carolina and so I want to share some things that are happening my name is Michael Moore I'm pastor of Beacon Hill Church in Hopewell Virginia I was blessed to partner with Chris during Easter and are working with the unsheltered and food poor in Hopewell Virginia and I've been blessed and I'm blessed to be his pastor Beacon Hill is his home church and he wanted a place that he felt safe to be able to give donations to and money to help Western Carolina and so I want to tell you a little bit of things one I want to tell you a little bit about our ministry here in Hopewell Virginia it started here but now it's expanded throughout the East Coast where we help people on the streets food poor and those in addiction we help them get off the streets and we help them get into recovery and so this is huge some of the video you just saw is what we do and what we hit the streets with so it's not just Hopewell but literally just got back from Jacksonville Florida last week and we were heading to Kensington Pennsylvania at the end of this month but Monday and Tuesday coming up this coming week we'll be in Western Carolina with Chris Chris has got a heart he wants to be on the ground and so as soon as he can get back from his show this weekend he's going to hit the ground in Carolina and we want you to be a part of helping out so there's a couple ways to do it one you can give there's going to be a link to our PayPal in our Venmo attached to this and it should be available for you to be able to give and that way we can make sure Chris and I can make sure it gets into the hands of people who need it the most in Western Carolina and so a lot of the stuff that's happening a lot of supplies are coming in and that's needed right now but they're gonna need long-term support so whatever gifts you can do would be a huge blessing to Western Carolina and we're looking forward to getting out there with Chris and being on the ground and we'll shoot some videos when we get out and we might have to come back and say hey we brought this but we need this so your financial giving please give out the PayPal and or our Venmo and we will make sure that every single dollar that is given gets into the hands of those we will to keep none of what you designate to go to Western Carolina we're excited for that and I'm thankful to continue partnership with Chris Lunsford so let me share a little bit about the things that that you can help with if you want to give and you live in the area here close to Hopewell Virginia because we're heading out on Monday to Western Carolina we need things like blankets we need toiletries especially individual sized toiletries combs anything you can think about to help you get ready in the morning deodorant we need that and we also need something that's overlooked right now we need baby formula we need diapers a lot of the stores are shut people and mothers do not have the ability to get those things and so things we don't think about and so blankets toiletries any type of small food items that you can think about we're taking a bunch of bread down there peanut butter any of those things could be a blessing so first where do you drop them off at well we're thankful to be having church at the Beacon Theater in Hopewell Virginia 401 North Main Street that's 401 North Main Street Beacon Theater in Hopewell Virginia you can drop that off anytime between the hours of 9 a.m and 5 p.m and they will set it aside for us until Monday morning when we leave to go to Carolina and so we're looking forward to that so if you're able to donate items and bring them in live in the community do so and I want to share some things that we do that is going to come in handy for this trip this is something that we give a lot of unsheltered people but in this case uh it is going to be really in need of just survival for some of the people that we're going to take so if you have backpacks we could use backpacks not just for this ministry but for ongoing needs and in each one we give a pack of actually food items so they can take especially people who've lost everything and then we do another pack of toiletry items and so it makes it easy to do this we also have bottle of water and we also have socks and other things that we put in this so it's a huge huge help it's easy because they need it to carry when they've lost everything but it's also a blessing so any of those items we can use but if you can't give actual physical items please give to our paypal or venmo and we are excited to see what God is going to do and we're thankful to be able to partner we're thankful for so many people and so thank you for supporting uh Oliver Anthony and his ministry he really believes in helping people and we got some exciting things coming up in the coming year but right now please support what is God has laid on his heart to help people and so we'll see you soon and thanks again for your support
