Goodbye American wine. Goodbye headaches. đź‘‹ Wh...
Okay, someone has to say it, so I'm going to say it. Wine made in the United States is the worst. I had two glasses of Pinot Grigio last night. Two. And I had dinner. I had a big dinner. It's not like I didn't eat. I have the biggest headache this morning. I had a bottle of water between the two glasses of wine. I had water during dinner. I had water when I got home. I woke up probably an hour before I needed to get up because I couldn't handle my headache anymore. So now I've had some ibuprofen and some electrolytes, and I'm trying to walk it off because I can have a bottle or more in France or in Italy, and I am just fine. I can have cheese for dinner with that bottle of wine, and I am fine. But the second I have any wine made in the United States, I am miserable. And I've looked it up, and I know people say there's no solid proof that it has to do with the sulfites, but then there's sulfites in wine no matter where it's from. But then supposedly there's more sulfites in American wine, and then maybe it has something to do with the pesticides we have all over everything. I don't care what the reason is, but I've done this enough times to know better, and last night was my last glass of any wine made in the United States. I can't do it anymore. I'm tired of this headache. So, we're done. Done. All done.
