Hey folks, Sauna Mike here, sitting around writing the Frequently Asked Question page on our website, and I thought I would share a couple of the FAQs here through a series of reels. I'm not going to post them all today, but I'll maybe get to them in time. Some of them are pretty funny. This one's pretty straightforward. We get a lot of people asking us whether our saunas are insulated, and they are. We insulate our saunas with R14 insulation. It's rockwool, it's fire resistant up to 1,000 degrees Celsius, so it really holds up nicely with the high heat of a sauna. It's moisture and mold resistant. It doesn't have any organic material in it. It's made of inorganic material, so there's nothing for mold to actually feed on. If rockwool actually does get wet, when it dries, it returns to its original efficacy, so it doesn't get damaged if moisture does happen to get in through a roof leak or something like that. We do not insulate the floors of our saunas, which is also a question we get related to insulation. The reason we don't is because we want the floor to breathe. It's a space that does get wet when you throw water on the stones, if you walk in with snow on your shoes or your feet. We want the air to freely flow through the floor. It also brings oxygen in. It just makes the building stay nice and fresh. We just don't want to create a space where mold and mildew can grow. That's kind of it on insulation. If you have more questions, definitely send us an e-mail and we'll answer them. See ya!
