I made these videos on my own accord. It ended ...
When I met with the Amish brothers who have been overseeing this entire project on my land, from putting in the driveway to building the 74 by 36 foot barn I now have, we met last week for me to give them the second to last check that I will owe for completing at least this round of the barn. And like you guys, I'm sad that this is coming to an end too. I don't want it to end. There's been a part of this that has completely changed me, changed my life, changed their lives. So when I pulled out my checkbook and I looked at one of the brothers and I said, I promise I'll leave you guys alone soon. He looked me in the eyes and he said, I hope you never leave us alone. And you have to understand these guys are not outwardly emotional people. It's a part of their culture to be reserved with emotions. And I looked up in shock from my checkbook and I looked him in the eyes and he said, we have two more projects we're about to take on this summer and we would love it if you came along and filmed it alongside us. I was at a loss for words, but I managed to get out. I would love nothing more than to shadow you guys with what's to come. So they told me about a really, really cool construction project they're undertaking in more of central New York that I will be driving to, to film and document for you guys to see here. This whole project and meeting them has completely changed me as a person. I now know I love construction and they have in their own way, let me know that these videos have actually booked them out. I believe not only for the summer, but through 2025. It could not have happened to better people. And I just want to thank all of you who have been along for the ride.
