#how much is a hotel room in Roatan #roatan #va...
What's the difference between a $600 room, a $300 room, and a $70 room on Roatan Honduras? Let's show you. Welcome to Ibagari Resort. So this is one of the most boozy hotels you can stay in in Roatan, and it is absolutely stunning. Ibagari is an architectural and an artistic masterpiece. It's right on the ocean with amazing views, beachside pools, and a beautiful beach. The restaurant is fantastic, and we love to have Sunday brunch here, even if we're not staying at the hotel. They have a spa, and this is a great place to come if you want to pamper yourself on your vacation. Ibagari is Garifuna for life, and the service here is impeccable, and you can't be looking at the ocean while you take a shower. Just up the hill from Ibagari is the Blue Roatan, which is one of our favorite places to stay when we have people coming to visit us that we want to show them a really relaxing and beautiful hotel. Because it's on a hotel, it has beautiful jungles with ocean views. Blue Roatan was a very different experience. It gave me more of the feel of an ocean cottage. Beautiful grounds, immaculate facilities, excellent, excellent customer service, and you're surrounded by two or three other major resorts within walking distance, so you can go to these other resorts and eat at these other restaurants. And the jungle and ocean views are simply amazing. Although the hotel itself is not on the ocean, they do have oceanfront property, and you can take a little tuk-tuk down to this beautiful facility where you can sit on the beach and have a wonderful meal. The next hotel is Mr. Toucan's in West End. West Bay is kind of the fancy resort place. West End is more of the happening place, and you can see it's just got a beautiful beach here that you can go to, and all kinds of shops that you can go to. It's wonderful. Mr. Toucan's costs about $70 a night. Mr. Toucan, this is where we usually stay in West End. Very inexpensive, right on the water, air-conditioned, clean, very nice, fabulous coffee shop down below. Which is included in your price. Included in your price, right? So, we could have had a single bed. We have two beds because we booked it last minute, and nice bathroom in here. It's everything you could possibly need for a short stay. So, West Bay is more of the resort area. West End is more of the, you get more of the experience. We like to stay at West End. It's cheaper, and we like to go to all of the little, they have like street tacos that you can get, pupusas, a lot of great places to eat, and a lot of great shops to go visit. A lot of great bars like Happy Harry's, and there's a lot of places like Mr. Toucan's. Some of the other hotels would be... Other hotels, Coconut Tree, Splash Inn, Mommy's Estates, they all have rooms to stay. And then the dive shops here are everything from Native Sun, to Splash Inn, to Sun Divers, to the Jackson Center, to Coconut Tree, West End Divers, many, many dive shops here to dive with. The other thing you need to know about West End is almost every restaurant comes with a cab.
