We focus a lot these days on being present. You hear that word said a lot, be present, be present, be present. Being present is very important. The ability to be content here in this moment is a real ingredient to lasting joy, but it's not the only ingredient. Another necessary ingredient is something in our future that inspires us, something that fills us with excitement, maybe a little nervousness, but gives us that reason to get out of bed, gives us that thought, man, if I was able to pull that off, how cool would that be?
