Why We Looked Older In The 1900s #genx #wiseda...
Can someone please explain this to me? I've seen videos like this, this one from 2003, showing a high school in 2003, I've seen similar ones from the 90s, and this comment, I've thought this every time I see them, why do these teenagers look so much older? High school seniors from 2003 and older, were born in the 1900s, and new people, with the newer folks, and it just don't compare. Because when I was 18, high school senior, I had already been in the workforce for like 6 years. I had employees since I was 12 years old, okay? I had a friend who had started a business, and filed for Chapter 13 bankruptcy before he even left high school. Kids I graduated high school with, had already started a family. Some people already had one kid, and one kid on the way, okay? So when you see people looking older in 2003 when they graduated high school, it's stress. They already had mortgages and power bills and shit. To get kids today, worried about SNAP scores. And hey, I'm not judging you or calling you weak or anything like that, because if I had the choice, or if we had the choice, we wouldn't have worked our asses off since we were 12 years old either, okay?
