It's not rewarding, it's infuriating

I wish someone told me before I set out on this journey to become, like, a better person and work on myself, and nobody else would be working on themselves. Like, yeah, I am a lot kinder, and I treat people better, but, like, who gives a shit because everybody else is still a bunch of a-holes? For real, had I known it was gonna be like this, I wouldn't have taken my hard-earned dollars and spent them to go to therapy. I would have gone to Cabo. This high-road shit is for the birds.
