Instead of splitting up labor and material on your estimates, break it up like this. Let's say you're replacing a toilet. The estimate would read, install new toilet, and then all the steps to replace the toilet. Like disconnect water line, remove existing toilet, clean up existing toilet flange, install new wax ring and toilet bolts, install new toilet, install new supply line, fill and test for leaks, clean up and dispose of existing toilet. Includes all labor and materials, one year worry free warranty, total cost is $900. This stops the customer from relating the price to how much you make per hour, but to relating the price to the work that you are doing, which just allows you to charge the rate that you need to charge to be in business without getting tons of pushback on price.
