View OriginalWe had what I think is a pretty cool idea. I think it's still a cool idea. If someone out there wants to build this company, give me a call. At the time, we saw kind of the rise of the gig economy, the Ubers and Lyfts of the world. But I realized, hey, with this trend towards gig work, it would be really awesome if folks who were in more professional job families could actually take advantage of this trend, but also benefit from some of the stability, benefits, packages, and so forth of actually working for a company. So the idea was, make it possible to have fractional folks in those legal, graphic design kind of job families that you could recruit as a company on a platform. They'd be employed by our firm, and we would invest in their professional development. And we were planning to build that platform. We ended up not starting a company at that stage, but also I ended up, as part of that, spending time talking to the folks at Stripe.
