Taxes are so easy! #Corporate #Working

Hi, it is time to do your taxes. It is time to do my taxes. I'm not an accountant, but I'm ready to pretend to be one. Good, we know how much you owe, but it is up to you to figure it out and tell us. Okay, I will do my best to try and calculate my taxes, even though this was not taught to us in school. Please try your best, but if you do it incorrectly, we will send you to jail. Of course, that makes perfect sense. What if you gave me your estimate so that I- No! Math is icky! You have to do it because we said so. Okay, it just seems like there could be a better way to do all of this. There is, but tax filing companies like H&R Block and TurboTax have heavily lobbied politicians in order to keep the system exactly as it is. That is so good for them and the politicians. I will try my very best to not accidentally commit tax fraud.
