What I learned after getting arrested 6 times...
I know you've been open about your rest record. Are you embarrassed by it today? And if so, how do you frame it? I'm not embarrassed by it. You know, I heard this quote once, which is like, shame can only exist in the dark. And that really opened a lot up for me because what I realized is that I only felt shame over things that I didn't talk about. So I actually think that making content has actually been more helpful for it, not less. And if I talk about it first, I'm like, what power does it have over me? It's like all these celebrities that like hide all the things that they do. I've always seen that and I'm like, what a miserable life. It would be very hard to be in the public eye if you hide stuff about yourself, because then it's like you have all this residual stress, like going to the background because you're like, are people going to find out? What are they going to think of me? And then you also kind of feel like a liar. I have to live my life in a way that maybe in the short term, people judge me for something. But in the long term, I respect myself more for the way that I show up.
