The early days of Uber, regardless of what you think of it now, were incredible. Those first years of Uber, it was like what I imagined Pan Am was like in the 60s. You'd get in and there was goddamn water and a big magazine and there was candy. Some of you young people are like, oh, they still have the mints. I'm not talking about mints. I don't refer to mints as candy because I'm not from fucking Russia. They had a crystal bowl filled with Ferrara Rocher chocolates and fun-sized Milky Way darts. It was the Obama years.
