If you put a meeting on my calendar any time before 11 a.m. there's a 99% chance I am rejecting that and it's nothing against you it's just that I know myself and I am at my best when I'm doing deep work first thing in the morning and building momentum for that day and if I have a 930 meeting or 10 or a 9 and then a 10 I don't have that 2 to 3 hour block of momentum building deep work first thing and that sets me back for the entire day so if people have an urgent meeting I'll just put that at the very end of the day I'll stack all my meetings in the afternoon because I don't need to be on my game to talk to people on zoom I can turn it on for that and I'm also an introvert so if I'm talking with someone on zoom I need to recharge afterward and I can go from call to call but going from call back to deep work is pretty much impossible so it's nothing personal to anyone who tries to book before 11 a.m. but that's my my special time and nobody's getting it
