When you vibe code you are going to create something that has vulnerabilities and can be hacked and this is one of the reasons why many people and developers hate the idea of vibe coding because AI can obviously make mistakes it's not perfect and it can actually create vulnerabilities in your code and when I first started vibe coding this was definitely something that I neglected at first but there are tools out there that will help you avoid these vulnerabilities and you can actually plug all of this into Cursor and just to show you guys this is my project that I built in Cursor and you can see right here that it's gone through all of the vulnerabilities that this tool has pulled out which I'm about to show you and I fixed all those vulnerabilities and now I have a much more stable product and a product that is more secure and is less likely to be exposed to hackers. Now I personally am using this tool right here it's called sync I think is how you pronounce it s-y-n-k.io and what this will do is it will plug into your code base it will look at your github repository and it will give you essentially an audit of your code base and it will highlight if there's any vulnerabilities in the code and it'll sort it by high priority, medium priority and low priority. Now you don't have to use these guys there's also CodeRabbit there's also Codacy but I personally like using this tool because I think they're a bit more in depth than some of the other tools right now and just to give you guys an example it has recently gone through one of my projects I've been building with AI. The code base is 100% AI and you can see here some of the issues that it is pulling out and so what I do is I connect my cursor to this website it sees all of the issues I have right here so there's 18 of them right now it will go through each one one by one it will fix it and then it will push those changes back to github and then this tool will again review the code base find whether those issues have now been removed or not and it will do another audit. Now everybody that is vibe coding right now needs to be using a tool like this because it will mean that you are shipping products that are more stable they're secure and you'll often find things in your code that are bad practice that these tools will highlight and you can go and fix those and so this is why I still today disagree with the developers and the haters that say vibe coding does not work and you can't ship stable products if you know what you're doing and you use a tool like this you will ship code that is secure it's high quality and is not exposed of vulnerabilities so go and check out some of these tools for yourself you can literally use them for free I think I'm on like a 14 day free trial still with sync.io you can use code rabbit you can use codacy and there's a bunch of other ones out there too that I've not even explored yet what I would say is that you want to find a tool that can integrate directly into cursor so either via an extension or via cli or even mcp this will give you a much easier workflow and then it means that cursor or windsurf whatever you're using can easily connect to the tool it can pull down all the high priority things that it needs to fix and then you end up shipping very stable products.
