So I just lost everything. My entire NAN production server, gone. I used Cursor to make this detailed migration plan. 50 steps, backup procedures, the whole thing. But here's where I messed up. I was so excited about Cursor helping me upgrade the server, I wasn't reading, I was just clicking through. Cursor updated my infrastructure stack and deployed it. New instance spun up, old instance terminated, all my NAN workflows, credentials, and execution history, gone. The migration plan literally said backup first in step one, but we deployed new infrastructure first, which killed the old server. Classic case of not following your own documentation. Lesson learned the hard way. Never trust AI or yourself to completely follow the procedure, and always backup prod. Let me know if you ever deleted prod, and follow for more learning experiences.
