Hello everyone, my name is Megan Friedman and I am a private chef in Boston, Massachusetts. But during the summer months, I've been traveling to various spots in New England for weekend events. This past weekend, I went up to North Conway, New Hampshire to cook a 13-person bachelorette party for a group of girls that actually found me through my TikTok. To start off, I went to the grocery store to get all of the groceries and supplies that I needed for the meals. Then I arrived to the Airbnb earlier than usual so I could prep lunch items for them to bring on a whitewater rafting excursion they were going on the next day. I chose menu items that would hold up well in the fridge and were gluten and soy free. I made a cowboy caviar bean salad that is corn, mixed bell peppers, cilantro, red onion, and a lime juice vinaigrette. A gluten-free chopped Italian pasta salad with olives, tomatoes, pepperoncini, cucumber, mini mozzarella balls, fresh basil, peppered salami, literally any Italian-related ingredient you could think of. Next, I made mini caprese sandwiches on ciabatta bread, turkey BLTs with avocado oil-based mayonnaise, and Italian sandwiches on roasted garlic ciabatta bread. These had ham, mortadella, burrata, oregano, fresh basil, olive oil, the works if you will. Then I packed everything up and stored it in the fridge for them to enjoy the next day.
