Picked up a shift, which I never did. I was always giving my shifts away. I picked one up for my buddy. And then I saw this woman that I recognized from the movies. She's from Hollywood. Yeah. Door-to-door sales. Boom. Go, kick that door down. And I was just immediately like, you're a movie star. She was like, you're cute. Do you act? I was like, fuck yeah, I act. Sure do, put me in a movie. I'm your man. What do you need? She said, well, give me your phone number. I've got an audition for you. I'm leaving tomorrow. I was like, great, what do I do? And so I borrowed my buddy's van. I drove to the other side of the island. I picked up the script. I went home, read the whole thing, like three times script. And then I went and auditioned and halfway through, she was like, you're good. We're gonna use you. She was like, it shoots in LA. Well, I've got about 60 bucks. I can't afford to go to LA. She said, sweetie, we'll fly you there. And I really felt in that moment, the tectonic plates of my life beneath me shifting. And I actually knew right then, I was like, oh my God, my dreams are gonna come true.
