Have you ever wanted to see a day in the life of a touring musician? Well, guess what we filmed one and honestly, it was a pretty weird one. So here we go Let's play a show in Indianapolis ready break We're in and out of the uber We had played a show at the Salt Shed in Chicago the night before and we're checking in at O'Hare when there's a problem I'm on the phone here with my day-to-day manager and I'm walking away. Why do you ask because folks for the first time in my entire career my team forgot to book my flight They booked everyone else's I went to the rental car center I bought a perfect bar and some water and got this car and drove to Indianapolis three hours later. I was there Here we are. I've arrived and Now it's time for soundcheck Which honestly sounds pretty good There's Ian rocking out and looking great. There's David Looking great, and I assume sounding great, but I can't hear him because this is camera audio amplifier I'm eating lunch. I had some Greek grilled chicken Kind of stay healthy on the road and we decided to get in the runners van to go to the hotel There's a baseball game and we didn't move literally a hundred yards in almost 15 minutes So we decided to get out and walk to the hotel So it's tough times man, it was kind of tough times it's not going great it was not going great I ran into some fans on the walk. I forgot about that Then those fans saw their fans And then I took a picture with everyone on the street corner and then we're walking I look left here because I'm about to check in this hotel after a hot walk. There were some people in the lobby. I think waiting for me I don't know how they knew I was there Hey, thanks for taking us Back to the venue. I'm ironing my show shirt, which after watching this video a couple times. I realize is a little too big for me Doing a setlist talk-through we changed the ending of old friends here To add the friends theme which I thought was a pretty good idea We're praying here. I have no idea why I have sunglasses on don't remember And then out on the stage It's weird to me every time that this many people are excited about my music. Also the show was so hot really really hot No big deal totally pro exactly 90 minutes later you're wrapping up Lights chase and then Good job on the timing game with the LD Then we bow honestly, I always am nervous to do about because I think people just want to leave That's just a window into my mind Austin looks cool here. How hot was the show you ask it was that hot really hot? I don't sweat a ton either. I hung out with Matt Carney's crew and talked about the Beatles and then It was bedtime. Thanks for watching
