The death of rec league is one of the worst things we've done to our kids socially emotionally and athletically Whether it's forcing competitive teams in second grade or getting rid of rec options completely for teenagers We've made it harder and harder for kids to just Play not to win not to specialize Just to play to move their bodies and laugh with their friends to stay active without worrying about being Elite we can debate the reasons all day long.
