So I just finished 12 hours at this marketing conference, B2B marketing conference. I sat through a lot of sessions and some of them were actually really good and interesting. Others were just like 45 minute presentations that said stuff like this, creativity equals divergent thinking and convergent thinking. Or this like chat GPT line, strategy is the activity that creates the heat, creativity is the spark that lights the fire. If I do not walk away from listening to your talk with something useful, a clear example, or any idea that you actually know what you're talking about, you should not be allowed on stage, especially when people are paying like $1,500 a head to be here sitting and listening to this. I sat in one session that was the top skills that marketers need to know in 2026 onwards. It was seven of the most generic nebulous slides and statements I've ever heard. Like AI is in demand, you need to have soft skills, not just hard skills. Great, everyone walks out, what are we doing with this? What are we doing with this moronic information?
