Somewhere in San Francisco there’s like a team of people all making a quarter of million dollars a year to design this abomination and guess what there’s basically no other software that you can use as an alternative @QuickBooks #quickbooks #rant

I run all of my small businesses' accounting on QuickBooks, which I pay for. But QuickBooks is not satisfied with my money, and on every page they advertise to me a dozen other services. Here's what they're trying to upsell me on, on just a single page. My contact Alive expert, save 50% for three months when I upgrade to something with payroll, apply for the funding I need faster, try the new banking page, try the AI-generated business feed, get a line of credit or a term loan, add payroll, that's a separate button from the earlier one, add marketing, for what? For what? This is not a marketing platform. Add time, inventory tracking. All things you would never do on here. They also have a what's new button, as if they're not filling the shit with pop-ups about what's new. And then of course there's the customize your dashboard pop-up, which is something I've already done. It's already been customized. There's the give us feedback pop-up, which of course they don't fucking read. And they've also moved around all the buttons since I last logged in four days ago.
