Let me tell you about the things that stopped happening when I stopped drinking alcohol for a month. I don't drink alcohol frequently normally. I live a damp lifestyle, but I still noticed changes not drinking alcohol for a full month. The biggest change I noticed was my sleep. I sleep so poorly after drinking alcohol and not even just the night afterward, but my sleep will be impacted for days after drinking alcohol. And I noticed that this past month, my sleep was so much better than usual. My mood has also been a lot better. I've overall just felt a lot less anxious and like my mood was just more stable. And lastly, I made it to every morning workout class that I signed up for. Nothing motivates me like a $14 cancellation fee. It's so nice having full weekends without wasting half of a day hungover and feeling crappy.
