Easy drill to do at home stop being lazy golf g...
Former college golfer, and this is the fastest way to fix your backswing. I would be doing this at home, just while you're watching TV, just grab a club and do this. Set your camera up to where your feet are parallel to the target. Take an iron, swing back to where that club shaft is parallel to the ground, and look at where your hands are in line with your club face. That's inside, that's outside, that's perfect. So I wanna look at, can I even see my hands? If I can't see my hands in relation to the camera, that means it's perfect. Then from there, I wanna just feel like my shoulders are swinging back, and get to this point where my left arm is parallel to the ground, and looking out where the butt of the club is pointing. If the butt of the club is pointing right inside that imaginary ball, that's perfect. Or kinda anywhere from here to where the ball would be. So by that, I mean, that looks good, that would be a little laid off, and that's too upright. So see, it's almost as if the club shaft, if that was continuing down, where would that be pointed? For me, it'd be pointed right inside that ball. Then, after I do about 10 to 20 reps of each, where I'm just swinging that back, good, good, good. Start bringing it back a little more. That looks good. Then all I'm thinking is shoulder turned back, and then looking at where that club face is in relation to this left forearm. That club face looks square, and see, so I'm looking at that, that should be matching this plane. Looks good. I'd do that 10 to 20 times again. Once that looks good, your backswing will be perfect. Good luck.
