How to keep driver from going right. Keep your ...
Recently, I've had a really tough time keeping my driver shots from going right. So I recorded my swing, slowed it down, and I noticed that on my way down, on the downswing, club face is wide open. So when I turn into the ball, it's gonna go right. I have to close the club face. How? The best way for me to do it is when I get to the top, I feel that this left hand, the knuckles, go down. Knuckle down and turn into the back of the ball. How hard? As hard as you want. Get here and turn them down. That closes the face, and now you can hit the inside part of the ball. So get to the top, left hand, knuckles down, and go. Get to the top, left hand, knuckles down. That ball's never gonna go right. You're never gonna push it. Knuckles down.
Summary
To improve driver shots, focus on closing the club face during the downswing by turning the left hand's knuckles down at the top of the swing. This technique helps ensure the ball doesn't go right and allows for better contact with the inside part of the ball.
