Stop the chicken wing
Stop the chicken wing through impact. Nick, you can see your lead arm is really far out with a scoop finish. And the reason why that's happening in the first place is because as you get up to the top of your swing, you have a slightly weaker grip and a flat lead wrist that promotes more of an open club face. Combining that with a lack of depth where your hands are over your toes instead of being a little bit deeper, you have no other choice but to beeline your hands down to the golf ball and come down very steep and on top of the original plane. From that steep position, you're going to stand up and out of your posture, throw this trail arm, trail hand, scoop, and chicken wing through. Okay, so the first thing that I want you to do, I want you to make sure you're setting alignment sticks down on the ground. I want you to pull these shoulders back instead of your shoulders being rounded. I want you to put Ben Hogan's Panda Glass over your trail shoulder like so. And at the top of your swing, I do not want your hands, arms, and club smashing into the stick. If you combine that with a grip trainer or a stock shot setter, we're going to be in a position where your lead arm matches shoulder plane, that's 90 degrees to your spine with your hands directly over your heels and the shaft right on the plane with a square club face. And that sets you up to properly shallow the club back down onto the original plane instead of coming down steep.
