You dont need more tips you need a clear plan Heres a clip for one of my students on my improve every month plan we have very quickly improved the backswing and now we are starting to get a feel for making a better movement in the transition His tendency is to stand up and lose the angle between his shoulders left arm and club too early in the downswing this causes him to get stuck at impact with his body making it difficult to release the club efficiently The first step is developing a difference sensation in the body for the first half of the downswing by using his ribcage differently This will start a chain reaction and then we can start to blend how the arms and wrists are working with this motion On manageable step at a time is the Comment ACADEMY all new students get 1 FREE swing review to get them started golf golfer golfers golftiktok golftok

Back swing is much, much better now, but we still have the tendency to wanna do this. Head wants to come up, arm wants to pull down. So now I've got a big angle between my left arm and my shoulder line here. Head up, arm down, and get stuck at impact here. We're gonna start to get some different sensations in the transition. Now think about your rib cage. Left ribs and right ribs have got different jobs. I feel like there's a long distance here, but my right ribs are much more crunched. If I went through the ball like this, my sides are the same. We're trying to get a long stretch up the left ribs and crunch into the right ribs. We get to the top and go, and unleash this arm down as the head pulls up. We actually need to get to the top of the swing now and get the body ready, ready to whip and release that club at the bottom. I'm gonna get the left hip and the left ribs around and through the ball, but I'm gonna crunch into the right ribs. The pressure in the lower body, moving forward with it as well. I don't wanna go this way onto the front foot. I don't wanna go this way onto the front foot. Trying to get the right sensation in our left ribs and our right ribs to get this club loaded as opposed to being here and now here, because now I can release that at the bottom. And we will almost find that as we start to get this sensation right, the club just goes at the bottom.

The video discusses improving golf swing transitions by focusing on ribcage movements and body alignment. It emphasizes the importance of creating different sensations in the body to enhance performance and achieve better club release.

  1. Improving backswing requires focus on body sensations.
  2. Avoid standing up too early in the downswing.
  3. Differentiate ribcage movement for better transition.
  4. Create tension in left ribs while crunching right ribs.
  5. Proper body alignment helps in club release.
  6. Pressure should move forward, not backward.
