comment ASSESSMENT for an assessment of your swing
Brendan, you have a better player tendency, and that is to spin out your lower body really, really fast. And that is why you come down a little bit steeper, where the shaft is looking inside the ball, and as you continue to rotate, you're going to drop the club back down, yes, onto the original plane, but then underneath of the plane at the last second, trail arm's trapped behind, you're going to have to let your hands, arms, and club catch up, which is why you throw this trail arm, trail hand. Okay, it's not bad, you can play some amazing golf with what you have already, you probably do. Okay, you even work the club basically right up the plane. You can see halfway back, the shaft is airing a little bit steeper inside the ball, that's a better way to air. You get up to a pretty solid top position. Okay, but we need to slow down these hips, and the way that we're going to promote that to happen, what I want you to do is bend further over out the waist, pull your shoulders back, right now your shoulders are very rounded, scoot a little bit further away from the golf ball. Okay, from there we need to force the action that we want with feedback, we can't just feel it, so I want you to put an alignment stick down your belt loops, and in transition, as you shift more weight into your lead side, I want you to drop your hands and arms back down in front of the alignment stick. Okay, right now the alignment stick would be way out in front of your hands, arms, and club, your arms would run into the alignment stick, that would be down your belt loops. Okay, this is going to force you to shallow the club earlier instead of coming down steeper, and then dropping the club underneath the plane late. Okay, if you're somebody watching this video, and you're really passionate about improving your game, you want an assessment of your golf swing, comment the word assessment below, and I'll send you a DM.
