Vercel launches unified Chat SDK tech startups ...
Next we have a pretty cool release from Vercel talking about their new chat SDK Which is essentially a SDK that you can build where you define like this global bot idea And as you can see here in the photo, it says like the on new mention So essentially you can define a bot and have its chat features You can have it connect to your business logic or whatever you want to do with it But using this framework this SDK now you can connect to slack github teams discord, etc All with one code base and you don't have to like rewrite all of the handlers and all that They kind of have that harness on top of it for you So you can now build like a chat bot slash assistant that connects to all these different platforms using the chat SDK and obviously they Got the NPM package chat. I don't know what Vercel is doing behind the scenes I don't know if they're buying it or leveraging some NPM insider to like steal these names And if you're building an assistant that you want your users to have access to on whatever platform they're on This could definitely be a very cool project to look into
