STOP Forcing Rotation 🚫 If you’re a golfer with an outside-in swing path, the last thing you need is more rotation from the top. Every day I see players try to “turn harder” in transition… All it does is shove the hands out, steepen the shaft, and make the over-the-top move even worse. This gets especially bad when you’re rotating more than you’re side-bending. ⸻ What To Do Instead ✅ • Keep your chest closed slightly longer • Shift pressure into your lead side earlier • Let the hands work down toward the ball, not out This helps shallow the delivery and promotes a more inside-out path. ⸻ Important: If you already shallow the club well and your face is in a good spot — then yes… turn and burn 🔥 It’s all about matchups. ⸻ Start slow. Speed comes after efficiency. If your path still won’t change, it might be time for an external cue to force your club path more inside out!
