Comment “swing review” for a free swing analysi...
Stop pulling your arms down, it's causing your slice. When you pull your arms down from the top of the backswing, it causes this club shaft to get out in front of you over the top and get really steep. From here, there's nothing you can do but either swing way across the ball or try to save it and drop this club down, reroute. You're probably gonna stand up early, extend and flip at the golf ball and who knows where it's gonna go. So what I want you to do instead is when you get to the top of your backswing, you're gonna feel like your back shifts at the target while it's staying closed. So you're not gonna start to open, you're not gonna start to pull down. You're gonna feel the weight shift from the lead side as your chest is still facing back, your back's facing at the target. You're gonna let these arms just drop down into the slot because once you're here in the slot, you're now able to just turn and rotate as hard as you want and that club is gonna come in on a nice good plane. But again, if your first move is to pull, it's going to get out in front of you, it's gonna get steep, it's gonna get over the top. So it should look like this. You're gonna come up and you're gonna just let the club fall down. So in actual speed, it won't look that crazy. It'll look like this. If you pull with the arms at the top, you can see how that significantly changes the club path going left. So slice the ball, give that a try.
