Let's add this physical phone to a free cloud phone system in 60 seconds. This is so easy, it's gonna blow your mind. And we're using 3CX, which is free for up to 10 users. First, in your 3CX admin console, go to users and choose the user you wanna add the phone to. Next, go to IP phone and configure a phone. Now check out how easy this is. It's asking me for the phone model and the Mac address. So this is the phone I'm using. It's the Snom D735, you can see right there. And for my Mac address, it's also on the back of the phone right here. You can see it under Mac address. Now I can't show you mine, but this is gonna be a 12 digit hexadecimal number. So we'll put it in and click on next. Now it says connect via SPC or router phone. This is because I'm on the free plan, and that's fine. That means my 3CX is hosted in the cloud and all the physical phones in my network need a way to communicate with that cloud, a gateway. For this, you have two options. You could use a router phone like this, or you could use a Raspberry Pi. That's the option I'm going with. So to do that, we'll flash the Raspberry Pi. You've done that a million times by now, right? And then back in our admin panel, we'll go to admin and then voice and chat. And right here, there's a button to add SPC. That's what we're looking for. We'll click that, choose Raspberry Pi, and copy this command. Then just SSH into your Pi, paste the command in. Then you'll put in your provisioning URL and authentication ID. Don't worry about that, it gives it to you right here. And there you go, you're done. And if we go back to our phone setup, you can see my SPC is right here. So I'll click it and boom, that's it. We now have a phone system that connects to the cloud through your Raspberry Pi. That's pretty sweet. Set up 3CX yourself by using this link.
