Subscription fatigue anyone? If you run a creat...
You could replace your Google Drive Dropbox or even make your own company server with this. And I'm stoked because creatives deal with terabytes on terabytes of files, and my subscription fatigue is through the roof. There's five bays here, and each one of these has a 12 terabyte hard drive. And if one of these hard drives happens to die, you can pop it out and replace it, and it'll rebuild whatever files would have normally been lost. It's called a Synology NAS. NAS stands for Network Attached Storage. Super nerdy. But that means I can access this from the network, my local Wi-Fi, or even my phone while on vacation. Could send a link to a contractor or client. There's a lot, but when I started my own business, I knew I needed to find a better way of backing up and storing my creative files. Start with an organized system as my foundation. Now, I reached out to them as I was figuring out which solution to go with, and they ended up gifting this to me. So, not sponsored, I have no obligations, and this is what I was gonna go with anyways, because it's like the Apple of NAS setups. So, thank you, Synology, but now I have to get 15 years of video files backed up onto my little server here.
