I wasn't sure I would love a phone-sized e-reader, but this one convinced me. The Onyx Book Palma II is about half the size of the Kindle Paperwhite and only a little bit bigger than an iPhone, so it's easy to fit in your bag or pocket, but that's not the reason I love it the most. This little device can do more than a traditional e-reader. Yes, you can read books and comics and even take notes, but you can also browse the internet, listen to podcasts or music, and scan documents. It uses an Android operating system, so you can download whatever apps you would find on a smartphone, meaning you can get books from pretty much any e-book store, including Kindle and Libby. The screen is easy to read and the battery life is great. Mine generally lasts for at least a week without having to charge it. The Books Palma II is a little pricey for an e-reader, at $280, but with all its functions and portability, I'd say it's worth it, especially for commuting or travel. So what do you think? Let us know what e-reader you currently use and if you'd trade it for the Books Palma II.
