The secret to making your AI characters actuall...
Let's talk about directing the camera in Google V03, because apparently the AI skipped that day of film school. I just made an entire movie with it, and I've learned that the AI is great at set design and exploding cardboard boxes with entire rooms inside them, but terrible at understanding your other left. The real challenge of AI filmmaking isn't character consistency anymore. It's convincing the camera that in a conversation, people should probably be looking in the same general direction. So, if you're tired of making beautiful shots that make no narrative sense, stick around. I've figured out how to wrangle this thing, and I'm ready to share. V03 can get confused when you place two characters facing each other in an OTS. So instead of using the term over the shoulder, I describe the shot in every detail. Let's break it down. This is a shot of two people facing each other. Now, let's place them for camera. Person A is on the right of frame, looking left. So far, so good. Person B is on the left of frame. They're back to the camera. Okay, now we combine both into one shot. This ensures that you have continuity for your next shot, which would be the reverse. Almost there, but I want a closeup, so one more try. Essentially, you have to describe what an over the shoulder shot is rather than use the text over the shoulder. In a hurry, Monsieur Denholm. And I use the same prompting technique for these other shots. Also, follow or subscribe if you wanna see more of these V03 camera secrets. What do you mean? When? Now that is an OTS, V03 style, with precise placement of characters for camera. If you have any tricks, let me know.
