Welcome to day one of my Sunday soup series and we're starting off strong with this incredibly cozy and delicious creamy chicken and wild rice Season four thin cut chicken breasts with this Kinder's the blend seasoning Then you're gonna fry them in a large pot and some avocado oil until they're cooked through Remove them from the pan and set them aside now add in a tablespoon of butter with some chopped up onions celery and carrots Season with salt and pepper and cook for about 10 minutes Add 5 to 6 minced garlic cloves and cook for another minute now stir in 3 tablespoons of butter and 3 tablespoons of flour Cook that down for about 3 minutes Then slowly add in 4 cups of chicken broth and 2 cups of heavy cream I add about a cup at a time then add in 2 boxes of Ben's original long grain and wild rice Be sure to use the fast cooking kind then you're going to add in your cut up chicken Or you can shred it if you like and give that a good stir Bring it to a gentle boil put the lid on and reduce the heat to a simmer Let it cook for about 20 minutes or until the rice is fully cooked stirring occasionally And that is all there is to it And if you like this recipe, you'll get this one and 60 others in my brand new cookbook That's all there is to it.
