Watch these two world class designers battle it out in Figma for 3rd place of the Reloan Design League Tournament. Both designers were tasked with designing a website for the Angel City FC women's soccer team in under 30 minutes. As this was their 3rd time competing, both players didn't waste any time and made lots of progress in the first 10 minutes. Grace, on the left, went for a strong and consistent design aesthetic that felt sporty and vibrant. I like how she was able to combine the photography with more playful shapes and illustrations. Nicolo, on the right, went for a brutalist aesthetic. This made for a design that was super unique, but still felt like an elite soccer team.
