Pt. 3 of the $200 Golf Cart as we continue to make it better little b...

Welcome back to part three of the $200 golf cart everybody said I got ripped off on. Last video we got her cleaned up a little bit here and there. This video we're just gonna keep plugging away. We're gonna start with these side hand rails and let's just see if we can bring back their former glory back to chrome. Not looking too bad. Gonna do the other side now. Pretty good. Alright next up tires. So I know what you're thinking. You're gonna put new wheels and tires on that thing but you're not gonna replace the seats? Listen I'm trying to find new seats. I'm not super stoked on how the other ones turned out so we're still on the hunt. Someone even suggested getting some old lawnmower seats which that's not a terrible idea but for now we're just gonna get some wheels and tires on this thing so we can hit the streets. So here's the thing. This thing's slow so we're gonna have to change that. These came with the factory governor that I guess restricts them to 12 miles an hour and that's just not gonna cut it. So what we're gonna do is we're gonna rip this thing off here, rip this thing off over here, and see if we can just get a little more pep out of this thing. So basically what that is right there is it's a little butterfly valve that restricts the exhaust. So what we're gonna do is we're just gonna take a wire, have it set to where it's all the way open. That way it's not restricting the exhaust and we'll see how she does now. 21! I'll take it! Up next let's strip this paint. Who thinks this stuff's gonna work?
