One of my favorite things to do when I'm skiing, I look for a kid, some little ski school rugrat stuck, no momentum, can't push their way along. I go just past and I offer them a pole, and as they reach out to grab it for a free tow, I pull it away. Because life is hard, you can't expect that there's going to be some stranger to offer you a free pole. The same policy obviously applies to snowboarders, but because they're wretched punks who ruin the snow on the mountain for everyone. Yeah, right, dude! Yeah, right!
